Diversity – Inclusion = Pointless

The trans-formative power of diversity is  NOT  realized when the focus is only on including those of a different race, class, color, gender, etc., with the expectation that the new “recruits” conform to the traditional norms, beliefs, and ideals of the majority.  Instead, the immense benefits of diversity ONLY occur when the focus is instead on honestly leveraging, including, and respecting the difference of thoughts and experiences diverse people and groups bring to the table.

It is the organizations that understand  an inclusive environment, in which each member is valued and encouraged to provide ideas critical to innovation, optimization, and organizational mission success, that  gain a strategic and profitable  advantage. In closing,  creating an environment were everyone on your team feels empowered, respected, and included maximizes profits, production, and passion!
