Another long , but productive day at the State Capitol fighting for the rights of those who normally don’t have a voice, a chance, or an advocate. Today made good progress on finding a Senator Sponsor for our Criminal Justice reform bill HB2168 that will make it easier for ex-felons to get employment opportunities.
Also collected important information regarding the disastrous proposal for a Balance Budget U.S.Constitutional Convention that would decimate funding for education, healthcare, and other essentials we need for safe, prosperous, and enjoyable communities. Both of these issues are so personal because I personally know and have experienced the devastation that occurs when an ex-felon can’t find employment or when there is not enough money to properly get the medical attention you need. This is why I am so thankful to be able to utilize my skills, education, and experience to help regular people obtain a piece of the American Dream! #PeopleOverPolitics #IAmThePeople
